Loira was born here at Helmstead - a much anticipated birth by our doe, Scarlett. Right from the start, she has had an outgoing, loving personality! We have retained her to be a family milker and to produce Mini-Nubians. Loira finally freshened for us in early 2011 and has an udder exactly like I was hoping. Early in her first lactation she's milking over 6 lbs a day. Udder photos coming soon! We took Loira to her first show in milk Spring 2011 and she place 2nd in a nice class of Recorded Grades! |
