Opi was retained before he was even born.  His lovely dam had developed a terrible abdominal hernia and we weren't even sure we would be able to get a live birth from her.  She managed to hold the pregnancy almost to term, but her kids were born quite premature.  We are blessed to have Opi to keep her wonderful bloodlines and mammary genetics in our herd - and he is a beautiful young buck!
